1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Mukoko ID account or using any Mukoko ecosystem services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Mukoko ID is a unified identity service that provides authentication and profile management across the Mukoko ecosystem, including but not limited to: Mukoko Clips, Mukoko Pulse, Mukoko Connect, Mukoko Novels, and Mukoko Events.

3. Account Registration

To create an account, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be at least 13 years of age (with parental consent for users under 18)
• Use a valid email address that you control

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Upload malicious content or software
• Impersonate another person or entity

5. Family Accounts and Minors

Parents and guardians are responsible for their children's use of Mukoko services. Our Family Management features allow parents to:

• Create and manage accounts for minors
• Set content restrictions and time limits
• Approve or deny certain activities
• Monitor activity within the ecosystem

6. Shamwari (Digital Twin)

Your Shamwari is your evolving digital profile used for personalization. You control your Shamwari settings and can choose how much personalization you receive. Note: Personalization learning is never enabled for users under 18 years of age.

7. Intellectual Property

The Mukoko name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of Mukoko. You may not use our branding without explicit written permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Deletion requests have a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel the request.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mukoko shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
